The total initial investment for a single-unit DapperTails franchise ranges from $103,500 to $242,000, depending on territory, van purchase method, and working capital needs. A full itemized breakdown is provided in Item 7 of the Franchise Disclosure Document. The one-time $50,000 franchise fee is included in that total.

Ongoing Expenses
Like any operating business, a DapperTails franchise comes with ongoing expenses that support day-to-day operations and long-term growth. Owners should expect normal operating costs related to payroll, fuel, vehicle maintenance, insurance, supply restocking, and local marketing.

Royalty Fee
Franchisees pay a 7% royalty on gross revenue for ongoing support, coaching, and system development.
Brand Fund
Franchisees contribute 2% of gross revenue to the national brand fund, which supports broader brand and regional marketing initiatives.
Technology Fee
Starting at $450/month, plus $225 per additional van, the technology fee supports the tech infrastructure that powers daily operations.
Our Incentive Program
DapperTails offers franchise fee incentives for qualified candidates as part of its commitment to supporting hands-on, service-driven owners.
Service Member Savings
Qualified active or retired service members are eligible for $5,000 off the franchise fee.
Professional Groomer Incentives
Experienced professional mobile groomers with three or more years of experience are eligible for up to $10,000 off the franchise fee.
Frontline Appreciation Discount
Qualified frontline professionals in law enforcement or medicine are eligible for $5,000 off the franchise fee.
